Key Responsibilities

- Assist class teachers in planning and implementing adapted lessons, resources, and activities that promote accessible learning for all students.
- Provide 1:1 support for students with SEND, facilitating their engagement and participation within the classroom environment.
- Monitor and record students’ progress, behaviour, and wellbeing, contributing to the development of individual support plans and reports.
- Foster a caring, respectful, and positive learning environment that aligns with the school’s values of kindness, respect, and collaboration.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and organisational skills, encouraging independence and confidence.
- Assist with behaviour management strategies to promote a calm and structured classroom setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support approaches.
