To provide high-quality teaching and learning for pupils in Years 5 and 6, fostering academic progress and personal development. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Years 5 and 6, in line with the National Curriculum
Set high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour, creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to inspire curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
Assess, monitor, record, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils, providing clear next steps for learning.
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, or who are more able.
Ensure continuity of learning and high standards when covering other classes during PPA or release time.
