We are seeking a dedicated Charter Teacher - Early Childhood to join our team at Arcadia Montessori, a respected charter school committed to providing a enriching Montessori education grounded in respect, independence, and a love of learning. The successful candidate will play an integral role in fostering a nurturing environment for children aged 3 to 5, guiding their development in alignment with Montessori principles. This full-time position begins in May or June, with working hours from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate Montessori curriculum for primary students aged 3-5, ensuring activities promote independence, concentration, and a love of learning.
- Maintain a prepared environment that supports child-led exploration and discovery, adhering to Montessori classroom standards.
- Observe and assess individual student progress, providing personalized support and guidance to meet each child's developmental needs.
- Collaborate with classroom assistants to deliver a consistent and supportive learning experience, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
- Manage daily classroom routines, including transitions, meal times, and rest periods, in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, milestones, and classroom activities.
