Summary:

As a Charter Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction in high school math courses, including Geometry, Algebra II, and Business Math, supporting our mission to prepare students for college, careers, and lifelong success. This full-time position is scheduled from Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., beginning immediately and continuing until May 22, 2026. You will work closely with our dedicated staff to uphold the school's values of integrity, respect, and excellence in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and standards-aligned instruction for high school students in Geometry, Algebra II, and Business Math, aligning lessons with the school's commitment to academic achievement and student growth.
- Manage a classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, respect, and active learning, fostering a safe and inclusive space for all students.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those requiring additional assistance or accommodations, to ensure they meet learning objectives and develop essential mathematical skills.
- Assess student progress through regular formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop, adapt, and implement effective instructional strategies that reflect the school's emphasis on innovative and student-centered learning.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding student performance, progress, and areas for growth, maintaining transparency and a strong partnership.
- Participate in school-wide meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning sessions to uphold the school's standards of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assignments in accordance with school policies and state regulations.
- Support school initiatives aimed at fostering leadership, character development, and community engagement consistent with the school's mission.
