Year 4, SEN moderate learning difficulties SEN teaching assistant

This role is for a SEND TA working 1-1 and with a small group in our Y4 classroom. The pupil you will supporting has an EHCP for moderate to severe learning needs, autism and is hearing impaired due to fluctuating hearing loss. Due to his hearing loss we need somebody who speaks spoken English very clearly to ensure he can tune in, ideally English as first language. Work will be set by the teacher but experience of adapting activities to the level of a Year 1-2, level an advantage. No behavioural needs but can appear sensitive and overwhelmed at times and need patience and nurture.
